Corporate Profile
Gerdau’s North American special steel division produces high quality engineered carbon and alloy SBQ steel bars for safety critical applications used by the automotive, commercial vehicle, construction, agricultural, distribution and energy markets. With two special steel mills, one downstream finishing and a heat treating facility strategically located throughout the United States, Gerdau is capable of providing solutions for the most demanding applications.

Environment
Gerdau seeks to balance our economic, environmental, and social commitments. Each day, our team members make new steel products almost entirely composed of recycled content. That's one way we reduce our environmental footprint.

Social Responsibility
Giving back to local communities is very important to Gerdau and our employees. Each location has committed teams who organize hands-on volunteer activities within the community. We support food banks, shelters, research organizations and educational institutions, among other non-profits.
