Hot Rolled Bars
Using full ladle metallurgy and vacuum degassing, Gerdau produces special bar quality (SBQ), hot rolled steel bars. These bars are converted into safety critical parts used in the automotive, commercial, agricultural, and military segments. Additional critical applications are found in other markets, such as oil and gas, aerospace, energy, and other industrial markets, which are served directly by Gerdau or through service centers.
