Hot Rolled Bars

Gerdau produces special bar quality engineered hot rolled steel round bars with full ladle metallurgy and vacuum degassing. These bars are converted into safety critical parts used in the automotive, commercial, agricultural, and military segments, along with other critical applications in the oil and gas, aerospace, energy, and other industrial markets served directly by Gerdau or through service centers.

- Carbon and alloy ASTM grades and customized SBQ chemistries, including bearing and aircraft quality

 

Heat Treating

- Full range of in-house heat treating capabilities, including spheroidizing, normalizing, stress relieving, annealing, quench and tempering, and any customized heat treat cycles

 

Inspection

- In-house automatic straightening, surface and ultrasonic internal inspection

- Automatic end chamfering available
